Monthly Closeout
Your monthly closeout is an essential step that streamlines your end-of-month tasks, ensures you get paid on time and your client receives a timely, accurate invoice. The process only takes you minutes, but it plays a big role in keeping your mandate running smoothly.
Monthly close-out should be completed within 3 days of the new month.
Why it matters
We generate client invoices on the 5th of every month, but we only generate invoices for mandates that have been marked as closed. If you don’t complete your closeout, invoicing is delayed — and that means your payment is delayed too.
Closing out your month also helps your Account Manager keep tabs on mandate progress and flag any unusual patterns before they become problems.
What you need to do
Once you’re done adding your dockets for the month:
- Review your docketed hours
- Submit your monthly sentiment (if you haven’t already)
- Add any upcoming time-off into our system
- Update your capacity to take on new fractional mandates
- Finish
You will receive an email reminder on the 3rd if your month has not been closed.
