Using CoDocket Assistant

Tips and tricks for efficient docketing using the CoDocket AI Assistant.

CoDocket is your AI-powered docketing assistant. Dictate or type entries (you can also upload a file) and it will generate professional, client-ready dockets efficiently. Just provide time worked and Description (the docket entry will default to today). You can also add a business unit and project/tag if needed.

CoDocket Tips and Tricks

CoDocket's AI understands natural language, so you can create dockets in various ways. If any details are missing, it will prompt you. Experiment and find what works best for you and your style of docketing.

  • Use the words “Team / Unit / Group” etc. to include a business unit.
  • Use the word “Project” to create and/or include a project tag.
    • “Log 2.5 hours for drafting the marketing team’s release agreement for the Winter Campaign project.”

Note: CoDocket may auto-assign business units and project tags based on your description if you do not provide a unit or project explicitly (e.g., “Reviewed terms of service” → Legal).

  • Create multiple dockets with a single prompt.
    • “Add 1 hour to the Sales unit every Wednesday this month for drop-in hours to review deals.”
“Today add 2 hours revised standard NDA and 1.3 hours strategic meeting with CLO, 4 hours yesterday corporate cleanup.”
“Add 8 hours Monday for legal team quarterly planning session, 9 hours Tuesday for detailed audit of existing compliance program, 8 hours Wednesday for reviewing markup and notes with Alex.”
  • Edit multiple dockets at once by selecting them with the checkboxes and bringing them into context for CoDocket
    • “Change the business unit to Legal.”
  • Upload a file from a different docketing system like an Excel spreadsheet, a PDF Clio utilization download, even a picture of your handwritten notes (as long as your chicken scratch is legible). Drag and drop files into the CoDocket chat or click the paperclip icon.
    • “Add these dockets (from the file).”
